New
York Steak…L.A. Sizzle!
The
New York meat packing district’s hottest steakhouse
has invaded Los Angeles with their pedigree steaks. Located
on uber-trendy La Cienega at the site of the former Bridge
Restaurant, STK is unlike any other restaurant in the LA
area.
The
same people that own the ONE Group with restaurants in LA
& NY have created this sensation. Designer Lionel Ohayon
and restaurateur Jonathan Segal have outdone themselves
turning what was a traditional space into something extraordinary
(even by LA standards). This is one sexy steakhouse! Dark
woods, light leathers, a wall of bleached steer horns, 15-foot
tall bar, and every supermodel in town make STK an instant
star on LA’s fashionable culinary scene.
And
as far as the meats go, STK is the real deal. The 24-oz.
Porterhouse and 26-oz. Bone-in New York are superb and as
good as any cut at Maestro’s, Palm or Puck’s
Cut. For all those lookin g for a little more, all steaks
and chops come available with toppings like Foie Gras, Black
Truffles, and Crab!
Not
in the mood for steak? We also loved the Roasted Lamb Porterhouse,
Hudson Valley Duck Breast, and juicy Maine Lobster. Even
the side dishes are creative and delicious like Parmesan
Truffle Fries and Sweet Corn Pudding.
Be
prepared, the celebrity quotient is high, people are beautiful,
and the prices are steep. We think STK is so great they
didn’t even need a vowel in the name.
Definitely
not your daddy’s steakhouse. The most New York steak
house in LA.
