Sexy with a Sizzle

Celebrity Chef Govind Armstrong has brought his famed LA hotspot to South Beach with a bang. It’s located in the uber-luxurious and hip Regent Hotel at the North end of Ocean Drive.

The restaurant occupies large sprawling indoor and outdoor spaces with a pure sexy vibe and offers the best of Miami style and substance. Armstrong’s fantastic menu is creative American chophouse with some of the best hand-rubbed steaks, chops, and seafood in the city.

Start the evening with one of their creative small plates and a drink from their fun cocktail menu. We loved the Basil 8 which is made with Zyr Vodka, crushed white grapes, basil leaves, and ginger ale. Quite the zip!

Standout appetizers include hand cut pasta braised lamb shank, diced Ahi tuna asparagus and calamari Florida clams. For the main course be sure to try Kobe style beef with charred brocolini, marinated mushrooms, herbed hollandaise and potato cream as well as the Kurobuta pork cheese grits with bacon turnips and collard greens. They also serve a fabulous skirt steak and prime rib.

Come for the great food but stay for the incredible people watching. Wednesdays at Table 8 are the hottest party in town where local hipsters mingle and play.
