Red,
White & Cool
The
folks at the Dolce Group have done it again with their latest
restaurant, Ketchup. This stylish red and white hotspot
treats diners to some serious culinary fun! Its back-to-the-future
design feels like a spaceship…or come to think of
it…a bottle of Ketchup! Diners are bathed in a glow
of scarlet – a celebration of all things Ketchup.
It’s the perfect place to begin your big night out
on the town.
The
menu, which draws heavily on updated interpretations of
comfort food is a thrill and entertains the imagination.
Menu highlights designed by the Dolce’s Chris Tunnel
include juicy Kobe sliders, succulent baby back ribs, parmesan
garlic onion rings, drunken scallops, pistachio-crusted
chicken breast and a meatloaf so good that they may have
to kill you if you find out the recipe.
Another
big hit is the rolling Mohito Bar, which cruises the room
and is captained by a bartender who is a dead ringer for
Halle Barry. I particularly enjoyed her Yoo-hoo Martini.
It’s
a 2nd floor restaurant on one of the hottest stretches of
the Sunset Strip. The staff is great and has none of the
attitude found at other West Hollywood hot spots.
Ketchup…
red, white… and never leaving you blue… and
we dare you to ask for the meatloaf recipe….
